Qualifications

• Knowledge of food preparation health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication; ability to take and execute orders accurately.
• Manual dexterity to use kitchen tools and equipment.
• Ability to work to precise measurements and portion sizes.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from guests and cook food requiring short preparation times according to guest requirements and hotel standards.
• Complete orders from the steam table and serve guests at the table or counter.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of food items.
• Maintain inventory rotation to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Clean equipment, surfaces, and work area to maintain sanitation standards.
• Maintain uniform and name badge standards on property.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to create daily specials.
