Hilton Garden Inn Austin Central is seeking a Breakfast Attendant/Cook to start guests' day with warm, fresh foods in Austin, TX. You will be at the heart of the morning operation, preparing breakfast items and maintaining buffet stations while delivering a welcoming experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service orientation and guest-first attitude.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (Food Handler Certification a plus).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook hot and cold breakfast items including eggs, meats, pastries, and fresh sides
• Set up, maintain, and replenish breakfast buffet stations throughout the morning service
• Greet and assist hotel guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to meet Hilton brand standards
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, countertops, and dining areas before, during, and after service
• Track and communicate inventory needs to management to ensure adequate breakfast supplies
