Job summary

Hampton Inn Austin/Airport Area South is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to ensure a welcoming, safe, and appealing breakfast experience for guests. You will prepare, stock, and maintain the complimentary breakfast area in accordance with Hilton standards while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one as required by state/local regulations).
• Able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up breakfast area before service begins.
• Cook and replenish hot breakfast items according to brand standards.
• Keep the buffet fully stocked with food, beverages, utensils, and supplies throughout breakfast service.
• Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude and respond to requests promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary breakfast area, kitchen, and dining room.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Monitor food quality and temperatures to ensure freshness and compliance.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Clean and store equipment after breakfast service.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and ordering recommendations.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management immediately.
• Support other hotel departments when needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
