Job summary

DiBella’s Old Fashioned Submarines, LLC is seeking a part-time Baker Associate to start early mornings and contribute to baking and serving in our store. The role requires punctuality, dependable transportation, and a can-do attitude while also delivering friendly, upbeat customer service.

Responsibilities include baking the bread as per the manual, stocking, maintaining sanitation, and assisting with menu items.

Qualifications

• Standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret the baking manual.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, balance friendliness with efficiency, and maintain focus.

Responsibilities

• Bake bread according to the DiBella’s Bread Manual.
• Follow the location par list for daily bake quantities.
• Keep the bakery clean and organized and report equipment deficiencies.
• Utilize safety equipment to ensure crew and guest safety.
• Prepare and serve menu items according to portion guidelines.
• Set up deli products such as cheeses, meats, breads, condiments, sauces, and napkins.
• Prepare hot and cold sandwiches upon customer request.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of grills, deli counter, and storage areas.
• Fulfill shift duties and develop a pace to handle heavy rushes.
