Job summary

Old Scratch Pizza in Centerville seeks an experienced Kitchen Commissary Prep Cook for a morning schedule. The role focuses on large-batch production, sauces, dressings, dough, and sausages prepared on site for all restaurants.

Duties include scaling recipes, operating large appliances, inventory logging, and maintaining sanitation. Hours are 7am–3pm, Monday–Friday, with benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale batch food production (banquets, hotels, large restaurants).
• Experience in batch cooking/prep of large scale sauces, dressings and meats.
• Prepared to meet ODA kitchen requirements.
• Training in food safety with clean & sanitary practices.

Responsibilities

• Gathering ingredients and scaling recipes for production.
• Utilizing large appliances to blend or cook food for large batches.
• Delivering product to Old Scratch Pizza locations.
• Maintaining detailed inventory and temperature logs for prep items.
• Portioning, packaging, and labeling prep items.
• Cleaning and sanitizing before and between projects.
