Job summary

ProActive Physical Therapy Centers is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Webster/Clear Lake or Pasadena team. You’ll work closely with licensed PTs to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in a supportive outpatient setting.

We value teamwork, compassionate patient care, and ongoing professional development, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and encouraged.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in Texas or eligible to practice in TX.
• Graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Energy, compassion, and a positive attitude toward patient care.
• Desire to grow professionally.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Instruct and monitor patients performing therapeutic exercises.
• Document treatments and progress.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to optimize patient outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a PTA at ProActive, you’ll work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists to help patients regain strength, mobility, function, and confidence.

Your day may include providing therapeutic exercises and activities, implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, educating patients and families about home exercise programs, documenting treatments, and collaborating with the rest of the rehabilitation team.

Most importantly, you’ll be encouraging patients through the hard days and celebrating with them on the good ones.

Newer PTA? Don’t count yourself out! Previous clinical experience is preferred, but it is not required.
