Job summary

SC Housing in Columbia, SC seeks a MOR Coordinator to support the administration of HUD’s Project-Based Rental Assistance. The role includes coordinating on-site reviews, inspections, and data entry to assure compliance and program integrity.

You will contribute to procedure development, staff training, and tenant issue resolution while leveraging strong organizational and Microsoft Access/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.
• High school diploma and 3 years of full-time experience in housing subsidy programs or related housing fields.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and conducts on-site MORs of properties in the Project-Based Rental assistance portfolio to ensure HUD compliance.
• Performs and follows up on physical inspections to remediate health and safety issues.
• Enters review data into HUD and other database software.
• Finalizes and provides MOR results to property owners/agents for action.
• Performs follow-up to ensure deficiencies are corrected within timelines.
• Assists with regulatory research and development of review procedures.
• Develops training and technical assistance for staff and partners on MOR requirements.
• Assists in addressing tenant issues/complaints.
