Job summary

Wet Willie's in McAllen, TX is seeking a friendly Coffee Cashier to welcome guests, handle cash and card transactions, and suggest drinks. You will operate the POS, describe drinks, and keep the work area neat.

This role requires a high school diploma, being 18+, excellent communication, a positive attitude, weekend availability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. TABC certification and Food Handler certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Availability to work on weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.

• Must have a current Food Handler Certificate & badge.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash and credit card transactions and issue correct change.

• Assisting customers with their purchases by making drink suggestions or describing drinks in detail
• Operating a cash register, computer and paper cataloging systems and processing daily paperwork and forms
• Up sale on every check
• Ensures that unauthorized persons are not operating their assigned cash register and keeps passwords confidential
• Ensures customers are waited on quickly, efficiently and in a pleasant manner
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as presenting professional conduct and appearance at all times
