GLOVIS America, Inc. seeks a reliable installer to fit vehicle accessories at our Montgomery, AL processing facility. The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform mechanical/electrical installations per manufacturer specs while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, securing installations, and adhering to procedures.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with powered hand tools preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Install items such as tow hitches, side steps, trim pieces, mud guards, roof racks, and other equipment.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical installations; use hand/power tools safely.
• Inspect vehicles before and after installation for damage or issues.
• Ensure proper function and secure installation of all accessories.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area; meet daily production and quality targets.

Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented person to install accessories and equipment on new vehicles at a vehicle processing facility. The ideal candidate will have automotive installation experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to complete quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Primary
  • Install vehicle accessories and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
  • Install items such as tow hitches, side steps, trim pieces, mud guards, roof racks, electronic accessories, and other equipment.
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical installations as required.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment safely and correctly.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after installation to identify existing damage or installation concerns.
  • Ensure all accessories are securely installed and function properly.
  • Follow installation instructions, and quality-control procedures.
  • Protect vehicle interiors and exteriors from damage during the installation process.
  • Report damaged parts, missing components, or vehicle issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Meet daily production and quality requirements.
  • Follow all facility, safety, and vehicle-handling procedures.
