• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.

• Willingness to pursue Montessori Associate training and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Teacher in preparing and maintaining the classroom and materials.
• Follow a routine checklist for dusting, supplies, and storage.
• Share responsibility for student safety and well-being.
• Use respectful, affirming language with students at all times.
• Refer parent inquiries to the Head Teacher and support parent relations.
• Supervise the classroom and lead when the Head Teacher is absent.
• Work with individual students or small groups as directed.
• Fulfill lunch and recess duties as assigned.
• Attend staff meetings and school events as required.
• Plan annual professional development goals with the Head Teacher.
