Job summary

Child Care Resources Inc is seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher Substitute in Washington state. This part-time position supports the Lead Teacher to maintain a beautiful, nurturing classroom and to guide children through their activities.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, supervising during work cycles and outdoor play, assisting with daily records, and possibly running the dishwasher or washer. A strong commitment to child development is required.

Qualifications

• Merit Account and STARS number required; all documents must be in Merit.
• WA state Background Check required.
• TB Test within 12 months.
• Immunity to Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) demonstrated by vaccination records or titer.
• First Aid/CPR (AHA or Red Cross).
• WA Department of Health Food Handlers card.
• Safe Sleep awareness and training.
• Hiring Education: High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in maintaining a beautiful, purposeful classroom.
• Supervise children during work cycles and outdoor play.
• Guide and assist children with basic needs and etiquette.
• Support daily record-keeping and classroom management.
• May operate a dishwasher or washing machine as needed.
