Job summary

Sunny Hollow Montessori in Minnesota is seeking a Toddler Aide to support the Lead Guide in maintaining a peaceful Montessori Toddler environment, attending to children’s needs, and modeling positive interactions. This full-time, on-site role covers an eight-hour day including Extended Day support.

Requirements: be at least 16, complete DHS Rule 3 orientation, and pass a DHS background check. No prior experience required; Montessori familiarity is a plus. Benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must complete required DHS Rule 3 orientation before working directly with children.
• Must pass a DHS background study.
• No prior experience required; Montessori experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, maintaining, and restoring the classroom environment daily.
• Support children’s work choices, independence, and routines as directed by the Lead Guide.
• Assist with snack, lunch, and rest time routines.
• Support transitions, indoors and outdoors, and provide bathroom assistance as needed.
