Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher in Washington to join a dedicated team devoted to child development. The role emphasizes guiding children, maintaining a prepared classroom, and supporting the Lead Teacher with daily records.

The position is full-time with a focus on consistent, long-term community building and adherence to state requirements and safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work Monday–Friday between 7:15am–5:30pm.
  • All applicants must have Merit Account and STARS number; all documents must be in Merit.
  • Current Background Check from the state of WA; TB Test within 12 months.
  • Documentation showing immunity to Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) via vaccination records or titer results.
  • First Aid/CPR (AHA or Red Cross) and Blood Borne Pathogens training.
  • Food Handlers card from WA Dept. of Health.
  • Child Care Basics or Educational Exemption in Merit.
  • Safe Sleep requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing materials and maintaining classroom order.
  • Supervising children during work cycles and outdoor play.
  • Guiding and assisting children with basic needs and grace and courtesy.
  • Supporting the Lead Teacher with daily record-keeping and classroom management.
