Flint Community Schools is seeking a Montessori Teacher to design and deliver a developmentally appropriate Montessori program in a full-time role. You will collaborate with parents and staff to support each student’s growth, while maintaining a safe classroom and providing individualized instruction.

The role emphasizes ongoing Montessori professional development and active family engagement, with a focus on personalized plans and parent conferences.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate required.
• Montessori certification preferred.
• Pre-employment screenings including criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement Montessori lesson plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians and administrators to address challenges.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate classroom.
• Provide individualized plans and small-group instruction.
• Participate in ongoing Montessori professional development.
• Plan field trips aligned with curriculum themes and supervise participants.
• Communicate progress to parents and conduct conferences.
