Zusammenfassung

California Montessori Project is seeking an Instructional Assistant II to support students with diverse needs in a collaborative, inclusive classroom. The IAII will assist the Special Education Teacher and General Educators, implement IEPs, and help maintain data while ensuring a safe learning environment.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, and classified, with 192 working days and benefits as outlined in CMP policies. Training and professional development are encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree, 48 college educational units, or the ability to pass a paraprofessional exam.
• Experience with special education priorities is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with students of diverse needs.

Aufgaben

• Create a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement strategies.
• Prepare and organize classroom materials and activities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special needs.
• Support students with IEPs under supervision of teachers.
• Assist with daily classroom routines and behavior management.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and reporting as required.
