Apple Montessori Schools in Kinnelon, NJ is seeking a Teacher Assistant Preschool. Work with Lead Teachers to support children’s exploration and growth in a nurturing Montessori setting.

The role emphasizes warmth, encouragement, and guiding students as they build confidence and curiosity. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe classroom, assisting with lesson plans, keeping records, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Genuine love of children and ability to engage calmly with young learners.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to health, safety, and classroom guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Support Lead Teacher to implement lesson plans.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication.
• Encourage positive self-image and independence.
• Model appropriate social behavior and engage with students.
