Apple Montessori Schools in Metuchen, NJ is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant Preschool to support Lead Teachers in a nurturing Montessori setting. This role focuses on helping create a safe, engaging classroom environment while fostering independence and curiosity in young learners.

You will assist with lesson plans, maintain student records, and communicate with families. A part-time schedule aligns with school hours and offers growth through professional development.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• CPR / First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Genuine love of children.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support and implement lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication.
• Encourage positive self-image while supporting individuality, independence, and creativity.
• Model appropriate social behavior and actively engage with students.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, trainings, and mentorship programs.
