Job summary

Child Care Resources Inc in Pullman, WA seeks a School Director who will provide educational and operational leadership for our early learning program. The role focuses on Montessori fidelity, staff development, licensing compliance, and daily operations, reporting to the Board and collaborating with parents and the community.

You’ll oversee staffing, schedules, enrollment, events, budgets and communications, ensuring high-quality program delivery while maintaining DCYF standards and fiduciary

Qualifications

• Holds or is working toward an ECE State Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an early learning setting.
• Minimum 6 months of administrative/management experience.
• Completed DCYF preservice requirements (per WAC 110-300-0105).
• Engages in ongoing annual professional development.

Job description

The Director is responsible for the educational and operational leadership of the school. They are the designated “Center Director” for licensing purposes. This role ensures pedagogical and operational sides of the school. This includes overseeing program quality, staff development, and Montessori fidelity, fulfilling all DCYF licensing oversight requirements, and managing daily operations including staffing, schedules, enrollment, parent and staff communication, community presence, and financial responsibilities. The Director works with the Board of Directors to ensure management and development of our program.
