Apple Montessori Schools in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Teacher Assistant Preschool to support Lead Teachers in a nurturing Montessori environment. You will help with learning activities, maintain a warm, safe classroom, and communicate with families. Hours are Monday to Friday, 12:30pm–6:30pm.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. A love of children and the ability to assist students physically are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• A genuine love of children.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull and carry children.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multi-task in a changing environment.

Aufgaben

• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support and implement lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication.
• Encourage positive self-image while supporting individuality, independence, and creativity.
• Model appropriate social behavior and actively engage with students.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, trainings, and mentorship programs.
