Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is helping to recruit a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner for an Outstanding Ofsted-rated setting. You will support children's development, encourage independence and deliver activities aligned with EYFS and Montessori principles.

The role is term-time with a warm, nurturing environment, offering training and development opportunities and a chance to join an award-winning nursery group.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Early Years qualification or above required.
• Experience in a nursery or Early Years setting preferred.
• Knowledge of EYFS and child development essential.
• Interest in Montessori principles and child-led learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive care throughout the nursery day.
• Create experiences that encourage independence and curiosity.
• Support children to make choices and develop confidence.
• Plan age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.
• Utilize the nursery grounds and outdoor environment for learning.
• Maintain a calm, organized, stimulating learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the nursery’s high standards.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety responsibilities.
