Job summary

Mile High Early Learning in Denver, CO seeks a Teacher Assistant to support Lead Teachers in classrooms serving children 6 weeks to five years old. The role includes supervising routines, guiding activities, and maintaining a safe, engaging learning space.

Candidates should have a CDA or Level II ECE credential, PDIS Level II or teacher qualification, and a HS/GED. Bilingual skills are a plus, with a Monday–Friday full-time schedule and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children
• Bilingual skills are preferred (Spanish, Arabic, Amharic)
• Ability to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday; occasional evenings

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in daily routines and classroom management
• Support implementation of child-guidance techniques and smooth transitions
• Assist with home visits and parent-teacher conferences
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy classroom environment
• Follow teacher directions and work one-to-one or in small groups with children
• Support Montessori-inspired activities in the classroom
