Montessorichild is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our child care team in Colorado Springs. You will support lead teachers, supervise children, and help create a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment for early learners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience with children is preferred.
• Positive, energetic attitude and love for working with kids.
• Willingness to learn and grow as part of a team.
• Familiarity with child development and classroom safety practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with classroom activities and instruction.
• Provide individual and small group support to children.
• Supervise children in the classroom, on the playground, and during transitions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
• Reinforce classroom routines and positive behavior.
• Communicate with families and staff as directed by the lead teacher.
