Job summary

Balance Early Learning Academy in Aurora, CO is seeking a dedicated and energetic child care Teaching Assistant to join our team. You’ll support lead teachers, supervise children, and help create a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about early childhood education, enjoys working with kids, and is eager to grow professionally. Part-time or full-time opportunities available, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Previous experience working with children (preferred).
• A positive, energetic attitude and love for working with kids.
• Willingness to learn and grow as part of a team.
• Familiarity with child development and classroom safety practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with classroom activities and instruction
• Provide individual and small group support to children
• Supervise children in the classroom, on the playground, and during transitions
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
• Reinforce classroom routines and positive behavior
• Communicate with families and staff as directed by the lead teacher
