Qualifikationen

• CDA credential required plus a plan to obtain an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education.
• 30 credits; 60 credits or Associate’s; 90 credits or Bachelor’s in related field.
• 2 years of teaching experience in a pre-school classroom preferred.
• Montessori training or enrollment commitment within first year of hire.
• Bilingual Spanish/English; Russian/English; Chinese/English; Korean/English; English/Creole speaking preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support Teacher in planning and executing Montessori-based activities.
• Maintain written documentation to meet compliance standards (CCNS, ACS, DOH, CACFP, NYFD).
• Facilitate parent involvement and communication, including home visits and newsletters.
• Adhere to policies and procedures of CCNS, ACS, DOH, DOE, CACFP, HIPAA.
• Assist with progress observations and reporting; perform other duties as assigned.
