Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the planning and execution of developmentally appropriate activities within the Montessori curriculum. The ideal candidate will assist with classroom operations and maintain compliance with multiple agencies.

Qualifications

• CDA Credential required plus plan to obtain an Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.
• 2 years of teaching experience in a pre-school classroom preferred.
• Commit to enroll in the Agency’s Montessori training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Teacher in planning and executing age-appropriate activities.
• Supervise implementation of activities for children's development.
• Complete written observations and progress reports.
