The Montessori School of Raleigh (MSR) & Carolina Preparatory Academy seeks an Elementary Spanish Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year, starting August 6, 2026. The role provides Spanish language instruction to students ages 6-12 in a Montessori setting and supports the Elementary After School Care program.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Spanish or related field, with 3+ years teaching experience; Montessori credential is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Spanish, Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Montessori credential not required but preferred.
• Commitment to MSR mission and core values.
• Experience teaching Spanish or world language instruction to elementary students (ages 6-12).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AMS guidelines and professional standards.
• Ensure safety and well-being of students in the classroom.
• Deliver Spanish scope and sequence aligned with the curriculum.
• Collaborate with administration and colleagues on curriculum development.
• Support Elementary After School Care program from 4:00–5:30 p.m.
• Attend required faculty and team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with families and maintain student records.
