Job summary

Learning Care Group seeks a Montessori Certified Guide to lead classrooms with fidelity to the authentic Montessori method. You will implement the Montessori curriculum, observe and plan for children, and communicate with families to support child development.

Qualified candidates hold Montessori credentials (MACTE preferred) and have lead teaching experience in licensed centers or Montessori schools. A focus on ongoing professional development and compliance with state requirements is expected.

Qualifications

• Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program (MACTE preferred).
• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school or related field, and previous lead teacher experience preferred.
• State education requirements met; additional school requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Share an authentic Montessori experience by implementing the Montessori curriculum.
• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care of every child.
• Develop observation, assessment and planning skills and communicate with families.
• Pursue ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood topics.
