Cadence Education in Plano, TX seeks an Assistant Montessori Teacher for a full-time position. You will join a caring team to support infants through Kindergarten with Montessori-informed activities and a love of learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.
