Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working with children, preferably with Montessori exposure.
• High School Diploma required; college preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children, parents and staff.
• Physical ability for activities including lifting, stooping and kneeling.
• Commitment to growth and Montessori training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teacher in creating a peaceful, engaging classroom.
• Monitor and engage with children on indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Assist with individual needs and transitions with a nurturing approach.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate observations to the Lead Teacher.
• Contribute to a Montessori-centered culture and classroom climate.
• Participate in school events and staff development to improve offerings.
