Job summary

Acquire4Hire in Washington state seeks an Assistant Montessori Teacher Substitute to join our caring educational community. You will support a Lead Teacher, prepare materials, supervise children, and assist with daily routines in a warm, child-centered setting.

Minimum age 18 with a High School Diploma; a Merit Account and STARS number are required, along with background check, TB test, MMR immunity, and First Aid/CPR. Part-time, flexible schedules offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess Merit Account and STARS number, with all documents in Merit.
• Background Check from WA state.
• TB Test within 12 months.
• Immunity to Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) documented.
• First Aid/CPR (AHA or Red Cross).
• Bloodborne Pathogens training.
• Food Handlers card from WA Dept. of Health.
• Safe Sleep training.
• Drug test.

Responsibilities

• Preparing materials and maintaining the classroom order.
• Supervising children during work cycles and outdoor play.
• Guiding and assisting children with basic needs and grace and courtesy.
• Supporting the Lead Teacher with daily record-keeping and classroom management.
• May include running a dishwasher or washing machine.
