Job summary

Washington Montessori School Auxiliary Programs seeks a part-time Assistant Director to lead After Care staff and manage the Lower School Nap Program. The role serves as a day-to-day leader, provides back-up coverage in classrooms, and reports to the Directors of Auxiliary Programs.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–5:15 PM during school sessions. Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, with responsibilities including end-of-day dismissal, parent communications, and staff scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead After Care staff and manage end-of-school day pickups.
• Organize the Lower School Nap Program, including staffing and parent communications.
• Provide coverage for lunches, recesses, and teacher breaks in the larger school.
• Upkeep and organization of the Community Room.
• Manage end-of-day dismissal to parents/caregivers.
