Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Valid Michigan elementary teaching certificate.
• Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and child development.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and manage diverse classrooms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver standards-aligned lesson plans for third grade.
• Create an inclusive, structured classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Assess learning using various methods and data.
• Monitor progress and maintain records to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school improvement.
• Communicate with parents about student progress.
• Participate in IEP/504 and other meetings as required.
• Integrate instructional technology and innovative strategies.
• Attend professional development and school activities.
• Maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
• Ensure regular and predictable attendance.
