Jusczak Trucking LLC is seeking a qualified Local Flatbed Driver for Monroe, LA. You will drive a local route, be home every day, and operate a fleet of Peterbilt equipment with safety and reliability at the forefront.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL with endorsement.
Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years.
Must pass DOT physical exam and hold valid medical card.
At least 2 years of Class A driving experience preferred.
Experience hauling flatbed/step deck/RGN/oversize freight is a plus.
Must pass pre-employment and random DOT drug tests.
Physical stamina to lift and secure freight and perform related tasks.
Strong communication skills with dispatchers, customers and team members.
Moderate tech skills to operate dispatch software.

Responsibilities

Haul primarily flatbed freight out of Monroe, LA.
Maintain driver logs and required documentation.
Coordinate with dispatch using our software.
Adhere to safety standards and DOT regulations.
Communicate with customers and team to ensure on-time delivery.

Position Details

Location: Monroe, LA (Home Every Day)
Hauling Freight: Primarily Flatbed
Equipment: Model year 2000 and older Peterbilt 379s with 3406E CAT engines
Fleet Maintenance: Maintenance with our sister company, NSC ATE, ensuring minimal downtime

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL - Must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Class A endorsement.
Clean Driving Record - No major violations (DUIs, reckless driving, etc.) within the last 3 years.
DOT Physical Exam - Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
Experience - At least 2 years of Class A driving experience (or equivalent training) preferred.
Ability to Operate Different Equipment Types - Experience with hauling flatbed, step deck, RGN, van, Conestoga, or over-dimensional freight is a plus.
No Serious Traffic Violations - No major traffic violations in the past 3-5 years (speeding tickets, reckless driving, etc.).
Pass a Drug Test - Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing in accordance with DOT regulations.
Physical Stamina - Ability to lift, load, and secure freight, as well as perform other physically demanding tasks as needed.
Strong Communication Skills - Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
Moderate Technology Skills - All company dispatches and communication take place on our proprietary dispatching software.
Clean Background Check - Must pass a criminal background check.
Flexibility - Willingness to work flexible hours.
Safety-Conscious - Commitment to safety standards and regulations while on the road.
Reliable and Punctual - Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and dependability.
Ability to Maintain Logs and Documentation - Must be able to properly complete and maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
