Job summary

Alliance Technical Group is seeking an Entry Level Monitoring Technician (LDAR) to learn a skilled trade in the oil and gas industry. The role offers a starting pay of $19.05/hr, comprehensive training, paid time off, benefits, and quarterly profit-sharing bonuses.

Local travel in SW Louisiana and occasional overnight stays are required as part of the job. During training you will learn monitoring of components for leaks, calibrations, maintenance, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to be on your feet for 8-10+ hours per day on uneven ground while wearing the monitoring backpack and carrying equipment.
• Love outdoor work and safe operation in all weather.
• Willingness to climb stairs and ladders to high heights.
• Ability to understand and use a hand-held device; some mechanical abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of components to detect leaking equipment.
• Perform and record calibrations on analyzers before use.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on analyzers.
• Identify and report changes to components during monitoring.
• Identify and report new or removed components during monitoring.
• Identify and report AV0 leaks, OELs, and missing identification tags.
• Support leak repair activities at customer sites as required.
• Complete Job Hazard Analysis daily.
• Complete Equipment and Vehicle Inspections as required.
• Complete daily paperwork (job summary, forms, etc.).
• Attend daily toolbox meetings and safety meetings.
• Complete all safety and knowledge trainings as assigned.
