The role focuses on building and activating monitored accounts, testing signals, generating invoices, and providing professional customer support across branches and sales teams. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of administrative experience in a service industry, strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle confidential

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of administrative experience in a service industry.
  • Pass drug and background screenings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous industry experience in similar monitoring roles.

Responsibilities

  • Build and activate monitored accounts via branch personnel and CMS.
  • Assist branch personnel with testing and validation of communicator signals.
  • Accurately generate and disseminate monitoring invoices for customers.
  • Provide administrative support and basic alarm operational assistance via email and phone to customers, sales teams, and branches.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and billing account audits for billing and contact information accuracy.
  • Ensure customer data and billing changes are timely and accurate.
  • Provide an above-average level of customer support in an empathic, helpful, and positive manner.
  • Attend Koorsen-led continuous education and training on new and existing product lines.
  • Demonstrate a desire for professional growth through provided developmental training.
  • Follow Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values at all times.
  • Assist in other roles and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Salary $19 - $35 / hour, depending on experience.

Required
  • 1 + years of administrative experience in a service industry
  • Pass drug and background screenings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Above average proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong work ethic and the desire to work effectively as a team member as well as independently to accomplish organizational objectives
  • Above average ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously navigating multiple systems/applications and phone call
  • Previous industry experience in similar monitoring roles
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to sit for long periods
  • Must be able to effectively use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions while using a computer
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
