Job Summary and Qualifications

• Monitor electrocardiograph recordings continuously on a central station monitor.
• Maintain patient records per hospital policy.
• Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, and departments.
• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Attend required education sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience

Required:

• Previous healthcare experience.

Preferred:

• Previous monitor technician experience.

Education / Credentials

Required:

• Completion of Basic Cardiac EKG Class.
