Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford, IL, is seeking dedicated team members for full-time monitor technician/nursing assistant roles. You will work 3 (12) hour night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am on site at the Rockford hospital, contributing to patient monitoring and care.

The position offers evening/night shift differentials, overtime, on-call pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability coverage, paternity/adoption

Qualifications

• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country or previous experience with Cardiac Monitoring. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required

Qualifications

Work Experience

• Computer experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country or previous experience with Cardiac Monitoring. Required
• Must complete Monitor Technician training (Basic Dysrhythmia Interpretation) course or pass the competency test before independent practice. Additional training for monitor technicians may be required to ensure competency. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
