Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a Monitor Technician to interpret cardiac rhythms, maintain telemetry supplies, and keep patient records in line with hospital policy.

You will communicate effectively with staff, maintain a neat workspace, and operate computer systems as required. Qualified candidates have basic rhythm knowledge and may have prior CMT or Monitor Technician experience.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Monitor Technician interprets cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, maintains telemetry supplies and maintains patient records according to hospital policy.

• You will communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, ancillary department and other customers.
• Maintain a neat and organized work place.
• Acquire and maintain correct knowledge in hospital/unit information.
• You will operate computer systems as necessary.

What qualifications you will need:

• Working knowledge of basic rhythms and arrhythmias is required
• Previous experience as CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Technician preferred
• Completion of basic EKG/Arrhythmia course and successful completion of Monitor Tech examination
