Heart Hospital of Austin seeks a Monitor Technician to continuously observe patients' ECG patterns at a central monitoring station and record rhythm data. You will communicate changes to the primary nurse and maintain accurate cardiac rate and rhythm records while assisting with related clerical tasks.
Ideal candidates have a High school diploma or GED, and may have 1+ years of college or a basic EKG course; prior Monitor Technician experience is preferred.

As a Monitor Technician, you will maintain close observation of the electrocardiograph patterns of patients. You will observe and interpret cardiac telemetry tracings at a central monitoring station, and record rhythm data at regular intervals. You will also perform a variety of clerical duties.
On-the-job training in dysrhythmia interpretation with an 85% pass rate on exam within orientation period
