PIH Health is hiring a Monitor Tech/Unit Clerk for the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. This part-time position (7am–7:30pm) supports cardiac monitoring and clerking duties under licensed staff supervision, helping to maintain smooth patient care flow in a busy hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have basic computer skills, good communication, teamwork, and basic medical terminology knowledge. Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese is preferred.

Provides cardiac monitoring and clerking duties under the direction/supervision of licensed or certified staff in areas of training. Performs duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care.

Required Experience

• Current California license/certification/registration will be required according to associate position.
• Prior experience in acute facility preferred or formal classroom education and formalhospital/inservice orientation.
• Successful completion of Basic EKG Interpretation.
• Bilingual Spanish or Chinese preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology or completion of course within 6 months.
• 1-2 years hospital/healthcare experience in clerical/office or unit clerking preferred.
