Job summary

PIH Health is seeking personnel to provide cardiac monitoring and clerking duties under licensed supervision. The role supports patient care flow in an acute hospital environment.

Ideal candidates will have basic computer skills, strong communication, and teamwork, with CA licensure and Basic EKG Interpretation demonstrated. Bilingual abilities (Spanish/Chinese) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current California license/certification/registration required per associate position.
• Typing and computer skills are required.
• Experience in acute facilities or related classroom education is preferred.
• Successful completion of Basic EKG Interpretation is required.
• Bilingual Spanish or Chinese is preferred.
• 1–2 years hospital/healthcare clerical experience preferred.
• CCC Monitor Tech/Unit Clerk with BCLS card required.

Provides cardiac monitoring and clerking duties under the direction/supervision of licensed or certified staff in areas of training. Performs duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care.

Required Experience

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology or completion of course within 6 months.
• 1-2 years hospital/healthcare experience in clerical/office or unit clerking preferred.
• CCC Monitor Tech/Unit Clerk – BCLS card required.
