Job summary

ICFAI is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Technician to provide continuous surveillance of cardiac rhythms for adult patients in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes accurate rhythm observation and timely documentation to support positive patient outcomes.

Schedule is 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (36 hours per week). Candidates should have a high school diploma, BLS, and ideally NC CNA status or prior monitor technician experience. Training on EKG/dysrhythmia will occur within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Listing as a CNA in North Carolina or prior monitor technician experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Complete approved EKG/dysrhythmia course within first 2 weeks of hire and pass dysrhythmia test.
• Secretarial/clerical experience with knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

• Successful completion of an approved EKG/dysrythmia course within the first 2 weeks of hire; must pass dysrhythmia test.

• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
