Job summary

LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA seeks a Monitor Technician to interpret cardiac rhythms, maintain telemetry supplies and patient records. You will communicate with staff, keep a neat workspace, and operate hospital computer systems.

Required: Basic Life Support within 30 days, knowledge of rhythms/arrhythmias, and completion of basic EKG course with Monitor Tech exam. Prior CMT/Cardiac Tech experience preferred; join a leading acute care facility.

Qualifications

• Must obtain BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Working knowledge of basic rhythms and arrhythmias is required.
• Completion of basic EKG/Arrhythmia course and Monitor Tech examination.
• Prior experience as CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Technician preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Monitor Technician interprets cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, maintains telemetry supplies and maintains patient records according to hospital policy.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Previous experience as CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Technician preferred
