Job summary

BASIS Ed in Chandler is seeking a Part Time Monitor to join our bright, passionate team. Hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 4:45 pm. The Monitor will oversee activities such as lunches, recess, parking duty, and Early Bird/Late Bird programs, ensuring student safety and smooth daily operations.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma and an Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card. Prior experience in a school or child care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor students to ensure safety.
• Oversee student behavior during lunches, recess, passing periods, and before/after school.
• Report any unruly behavior to school management.
• Inform supervisor of damages to school property.
• Respond to emergencies with urgency.
• Exercise sound judgement in carrying out duties.
• Assist in front office support as applicable.
• Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance.
• Supervise individual students and/or groups of students during structured and unstructured times.
