Job summary

BASIS Goodyear is seeking a Part Time Monitor to join our team. Hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Monitor will oversee student activities including lunches, recess, and after-school programs, ensuring safety and orderly behavior.

The role requires a high school diploma or higher and an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Experience in a school or child care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Experience in a school or child care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students to ensure safety.
• Oversee student behavior during lunches, recess, passing periods, and before/after school.
• Report unruly behavior to school management.
• Inform supervisor of damages to school property.
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as injuries or food allergies.
• Exercise sound judgement in carrying out duties.
• Assist in front office support as applicable.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Supervise students during structured and unstructured times.
