Job summary

Gateway Rehab Center in Braddock, PA is hiring a part-time Security Monitor to help maintain a safe, structured environment for patients in the Back on Track program. The role includes afternoon and overnight shifts with a competitive wage of $18 per hour.

You will monitor patient movement, keep detailed logs, conduct intakes and orientations, administer drug screenings, and oversee medication dispensing. You will also perform random room checks and transport residents as needed.

Requirements

What do we require?

• Must have a High School diploma or GED and the ability to:
• Pass a Department of Corrections Clean Background Check
• Pass Drug Screen – Company paid
• Get a 2-Step PDD/TB Test – Company paid when possible.
• Have valid driver’s license with favorable driving record.
• Obtain a CPR certification shortly after starting.

What are the work conditions?

• Department of Corrections Center.
• Afternoon and overnight shifts.
• Required to remain awake and alert while on duty.
• Stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; may involve lifting as needed.
• This position requires mandatory staffing coverage when necessary to provide a safe treatment environment for Gateway patients.
