Job summary

Gateway Rehab Center is urgently hiring security Monitors to help maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment for patients in Erie, PA. Afternoon and overnight shifts available with a $1,000 sign‑on bonus.

You will monitor patient movement, conduct intakes, administer screenings, and oversee medication dispensing as part of a mission‑driven team. Candidates should be dependable, observant, and ready to contribute to a safe treatment environment while meeting background and health

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient movement, maintain detailed logs, and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Serve as first point of contact for new patients, conduct intakes and orientations, administer drug screenings, and oversee medication dispensing.
• Conduct random room checks and transport residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient movement, maintain detailed logs, and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pass a Department of Corrections Clean Background Check.
• Pass a drug screen – company paid.
• Get a PDD/TB test – company paid when possible.
• Have a valid driver’s license with a favorable driving record.
• Obtain CPR certification shortly after starting.

Work Conditions

• Department of Corrections Center.
• Afternoon and overnight shifts.
• Required to remain awake and alert while on duty.
• Stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; may involve lifting as needed.
• Mandatory staffing coverage when necessary to provide a safe treatment environment for Gateway patients.
