West Hollow Middle School in Melville, NY is seeking two hallway and lunchroom monitors to support student safety and daily operations during school hours. Successful candidates will supervise corridors, bathrooms, and cafeterias, assist with sign-in in the cafeteria, perform light cleaning of tables, and maintain a friendly, calm demeanor while de-escalating conflicts.

The role requires punctuality and positive relationships with students, staff, and faculty, with standard hours 7:45 AM to 3:00

• Supervise bathroom sign-in processes via Google Sheets
• Perform light cleaning duties of cafeteria tables (as applicable)
• Maintain a friendly, warm, and calm demeanor
• De-escalate situations through tactful dialogue
• Develop positive relationships with students, coworkers, faculty, and staff
• Report punctually to campus each school day
• Report to building administration any concerns regarding students, coworkers, faculty, and staff

West Hollow Middle School is seeking candidates to fill two hallway/lunchroom Monitor vacancies. Successful candidates will fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Monitor the hallway, bathroom, cafeteria, locker room, and student center (as assigned)
• Supervise bathroom sign-in processes via Google Sheets
• Perform light cleaning duties of cafeteria tables (as applicable)
• Maintain a friendly, warm, and calm demeanor

The standard hours are from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM on days school is in session.
