Job summary

M2 Technology Group seeks an experienced Mongo Database Engineer to advance critical solutions. You will design sophisticated database structures, automate security, and apply SME-level data expertise to optimize MongoDB deployments.

Responsibilities include building REST endpoints with Python, Django, and Flask, plus collaborating on secure data operations and scalable architectures across federal projects. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active NSA TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 5 years of equivalent DB Engineering experience.
• 8+ years of Database Engineering experience on similar projects.
• Proficiency in Python, MongoDB/MariaDB, Django/Flask, and microservices.
• Deep MongoDB/Elasticsearch or NoSQL expertise and SQL/NoSQL design principles.
• Knowledge of information security principles and practices.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, independent and collaborative work, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable database structures.
• Enhance information security through automation and monitoring.
• Develop parsers and loaders to optimize data management and MongoDB tuning.
• Build and test Python-based REST endpoints and microservices using Django and Flask.
• Collaborate to streamline data operations and deliver timely system updates.
