Job summary

EOA Technologies is seeking a Database Engineer for a full-time role on a government subcontract in the United States. The position emphasizes automation, secure lifecycle data collection, and scalable database design within a modern Python/Django/Flask stack.

The role requires active TS/SCI with Poly, hands-on MongoDB/MariaDB deployment and optimization, and 5+ years of DBE experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is expected, with a focus on secure, workflow-driven data systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• DB experience with MongoDB or MariaDB including deployment and management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Five (5) years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Five (5) years' experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.
• Develop or maintain database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system.
• Create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates.
• Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.
• Support the development and test of Python-based REST endpoints, microservices, and data model management using Django and Flask with MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL and JSON data to UI fronts.
